    This is an interesting one. This stretch of route (part of the official Posbank MTB route) gives you the choice; ride on the loose soil forest track or rest on the concrete path right next to it.
    Of course on paper all mountain bikers say they'll ride the forest track... but for some reason I always see those big knobbly tyres on the concrete next to me!

            a long false flat climb to the watchtower. Still, I am always amazed at the length haha. A tip for me: cycle this segment tactically if you already have some kilometers in your legs, because if you tackle this segment too fanatically it can eat you dry.
