The Racheldiensthütte is managed - from snacks and main meals to coffee and cake, there's everything. Top quality, highly recommended. At the same time, it is an ideal starting point for a hike to Lake Rachel (about one and a half hours) or to the Great Rachel. I prefer the way over the pulpit here - that's how I go up the rocky and difficult parts. I find it more comfortable than down.

The more than 100-year-old Racheldiensthütte, renovated in 2017, is located in the heart of the Bavarian Forest National Park and is the ideal starting point for hikes on the Goldsteig, to the Rachelsee or to the Großer Rachel.

The barrier-free hut, idyllically located in the forest, is the ideal place to rest and take a break. With hearty snacks you can enjoy the quiet of the forest.

The Racheldiensthütte is also on the European long-distance hiking trail E 6.
No overnight stay possible.

The hut is open in season from May to October. Cyclists, hikers and day trippers are welcome daily from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The hut can be reached with the "Rachel-Bus" Igelbus.
