Conspicuous dorsal mountain in the Haardt, the eastern edge of the Palatinate Forest to the Upper Rhine Plain. On top of the hill are a broadcasting radio mast, which is usually called "Weinbietsender" on the spot, a bricked panorama tower with weather station ("Weinbietturm") and the excursion restaurant Weinbiethaus. The two striking towers make the mountain from the 400 m lower level to a regional landmark, according to which the wine cooperative Weinbiet Manufaktur of Neustadt districts Mußbach (seat), Gimmeldingen and Haardt has chosen its name.

The Weinbiet Tower is a historic landmark located at the top of the Weinbiet mountain range. Built from red sandstone between 1870 and 1874, the tower offers fantastic views over the Rhine plain and the Palatinate Forest.
