The "Wiesengrund" covers around 700 ha and in Nuremberg / Fürth is the name for the entirety of the Rednitz, Pegnitz and Regnitz meadows and the floodplains of their tributaries in the urban area. It is an important habitat for the flora and fauna, agricultural land and a popular local recreation area for all of Fürth.
Known points are the chapel rest, the "Spitz", the anniversary grove, the shooting gallery and parts of the Fürth city park.
