Send moated castle with freely accessible castle park and an exciting construction site:

A look at the right part of the building shows the reason: the men's house was built in 1719 as part of the baroque redesign of the castle. For this purpose, the subsoil of the palace island was replenished at this point. However, over time it lowered and the house began to slowly and gradually incline in the direction of Gräfte.
The crooked position of the right part of the building can be clearly seen from afar.

The non-profit association Schloss Senden e.V. took over the entire palace complex in 2015. Since then, extensive renovation measures have taken place at the castle.
The foundation of the men's house was stabilized in 2018 in the course of renovation work using a special process.
In the spring of 2021, the renovation work on the outer shell of the entire palace complex began.
Nice to see that such great cultural assets are being preserved.
