The Volcanic National Park offers a variety of hikes including also on the volcanoes, e.g. the visoke. A real highlight is of course the visit to the mountain gorillas living here and in this context the area,
where Dian Fossey had set up camp to study this species. Only signs and remains, but also a cemetery where the murdered Dian Fossey found her final resting place among her beloved mountain gorillas. The tour can only be done with a permit and a guide.
