The club house of the Rifle Brotherhood was inaugurated in 1775, but was closed again in 1828 due to dilapidation. It is the oldest surviving building in Słubice.

When, after the war, the city of Frankfurt (Oder) was separated into the now famous half town (Frankfurt - Słubice), the faithful of the newly founded Słubice, with the help of a pastor from Frankfurt, committed the dedication of the old rifle house. So people could use this place temporarily as a place of prayer shortly after the end of the war. The basic renovation of the rifle house, initiated by the residents, was then carried out a short time later. This formed the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary into what it is today.

There is now a beautiful wooden altar at the head of the renovated hall. Saint Catherine La’Bourne, sister of mercy and Vincent a Paulo, the founder of a large pastor’s mission who visited the city in 1945, are depicted on it. The large, colorful windows of the church are a special eye-catcher. Each of them shows a saint of great importance for the Catholic faith. Next to the main hall of the church is the chapel of St. Francis of Assisi, which invites you to silent prayers.

The Church of the Holy Virgin Mary, Queen of Poland was built on the site of the former ballroom.
After the war, the community was established and placed under the care of priests of the Mission Congregation.
During the war, this place should be visited by Adolf Hitler himself.
The interior of the temple is adapted to the architecture. The windows were replaced with stained glass. Stained glass is a gift from parishioners made at the request of the then pastor: Andrzej Gerej, CM. A mass altar was placed on the "stage". A musical choir was later added and an organ installed, which blends in beautifully with the whole.
