In Villanova we find the church of S.Antonio which dates back to the 14th century. The first document, drawn up by the vicar Nores, in which it is mentioned dates back to 1586. Already then there is talk of the Villanova oak which is called - Oak of the neighborhood - because the meetings of the local heads of the place were usually held around the tree. The oak is over 15 meters high and its circumference from the ground measures over 7 meters. The presumed age is estimated around 5 centuries but popular tradition attributes it to over seven. It is a sacred tree, symbol of the arboreal patriarchs of the eastern Venetian plain.

The secular oak of Villanova is over 15 meters high and its circumference from the ground measures over 7 meters. The presumed age is estimated around 5 centuries, but popular tradition attributes it to over seven. It is a sacred tree, symbol of the arboreal patriarchs of the eastern Venetian plain. Currently secured after the lightning strike that hit her in March 2018.
