Rough gravel switchback climb, with great views back over the valley as you gain altitude. Tops out onto a fantastic plateau. We did't have to hike, but you may want to or have to.
Nice short climb up to the plateau. A little steeper in some corners, but nothing too crazy. Of all the climbs in the Atlas Mountain Race, this is one that is doable. Once at the top no weird surprises for a while, which is very pleasant.
