Stunning wild path, completely ridable, through Moroccan villages. Just a few km outside Marrakesh, definitely worth cycling.

Here we left the tarmac behind — be careful to make this turn as the gravel runs parallel to the tarmac road for a while, we had to double back. The beautiful path descents through this short section of flowing hard-packed earth and gravel, passing farm fields and much more green than we expected. Then, a few tough climbs (steep but short in this section) to get back out to the main road, which was new!

Lovely section of rural gravel. Make sure you don't miss the turning off the road, with pastureland, goats and lovely views.

Towards the end there is a delightful downhill of smooth flowing gravel to the river, and a short but very steep climb out of the valley to the tarmac again.
