The stone crosses and the shrine were - in the opinion of experts - compiled in later time; However, all four crosses come from the surrounding area. The gothic shrine (~ 1435) with the scene of the crucifixion was probably built as an atonement after the killing of a Kraftshofer farmer. In the vernacular, the group is also referred to as "The Thirty Parsons" (allegedly have been killed during the Thirty Years War here thirty pastors of insurgent peasants.)
