Menhirs are monolithic stones placed in a vertical position. The term derives from Breton and combines the two words "stone and long". The menhirs in the Salento area are of very ancient origin (9000/8000 years BC) and their meaning is still unknown today. According to some, these are funerary stems used to indicate the burial of an important person, according to others they are symbols to invoke fertility, while another thesis claims instead that they are sundials used to record the astral phases. Many of these menhirs were then "Christianized" during the Middle Ages with various engravings and additions. The menhir of San Vincenzo is three and a half meters high and, like others, has the widest facades facing north and south.

It is one of the highest megalithic monuments in the Jurdigno area.
About 3.50 m high, it rests on a rocky bank and measures 45 x 30 cm at the base.
It is located in the center of the village not far away and has a tapered top with a metal consolidation band.
