Among the many visitors to the Marmore Falls, the figure of Lord Byron is unforgettable, to whom the square in front of the last jump was also dedicated: here, in fact, the English poet was struck by this waterfall "incomparable cataract, horribly beautiful". The sculpture created for Byron by the artist Peppe Di Giuli consists of a steel ingot bench on which, as if it had been elegantly thrown by Byron, stands the gilded bronze cloak with the book next to it on which it is engraved in Italian and in English the text dedicated by the poet to the Marmore Falls.
