Ismarida lake is a unified complex of water biotopes. Called also as Mitriko lake, is one of the rarest shallow lakes with fresh water and the only one left in North Greece. The lake waters are drained to the sea through a narrow access arm. In the surrounding area of the wetland scientists discovered 190 bird species. Easy flat road without traffic.
