The remains of the Lost Burro Mine with its scattered wooden cabins and rusty barrels is a picturesque site. You will also find an old mine shaft as well as the ruins of the mill. The mines are up the small gulch beyond the mill, strung out along the south side. The Lost Burro Mine is a former gold mine that was closed in the 1970's.
You can hike to it along a nameless canyon with tight narrows. There is no water source, so take plenty with you.
