The church was built in 1715, but was quickly destroyed by the Russians during the Seven Years' War. The temple was rebuilt in 1763. It was then renovated several times, including: in the 19th century and in 1927. The church survived World War II, but was in poor technical condition. It was used only until 1956. Abandoned, it fell into ruin. Today it is private property. The walls are supported and the ceilings are stamped. That's the only reason it didn't collapse completely. There is no sign that it was a renovation, it only postponed the inevitable. Until recently, there was a wooden bell tower next to the church, but it has already fallen over. In the bushes, on the southern side of the church, there is a monument dedicated to the villagers who died in World War I.
