This is practically the center of the old town of Köpenick. There is a market here on Tuesdays and Thursdays and here is the smallest brewery in Germany with a restaurant and a bar. From here you can reach the Köpenick Castle, the Köpenick Town Hall, the Laurentiuskirche and the Luisenhain in just a few steps.

Two bronze horses are set up on the Schlossplatz in the old town of Köpenick. These are replicas of the well-known Berlin equestrian statues "The Great Elector" and "Friedrich II".
Unlike their counterparts, they are freed from their riders and have left their pedestals. The free-roaming horses head for Köpenick Castle, which is cut off from the old town by a traffic lane. The sculptures create an intellectual bridge in the disturbed historical urban structure and, with their anarchic appearance, invite you to reconsider well-known images of rulership.
