It is a fireless steam accumulator locomotive used as a shunting locomotive for factory railways, with one driving axle and one coupled axle, capable of a top speed of 30 km/h. This locomotive produces neither smoke nor soot. It has two cylinders and a Heusinger control system. The steam generated in an external system was fed under high pressure into the boiler, which was already partially filled with water. Due to the steam consumption during operation, the pressure in the boiler and thus the boiling point dropped, creating new steam. The locomotive could run for up to six hours on a single fill.

The locomotive was built in 1950 by A. Jung in Jungenthal near Kirchen / Sieg. It was used as an operating locomotive by HEW on the factory premises in Tiefstack and was donated in 1992.
According to a contemporary witness, the original color was green, even after the major flood disaster.

The locomotive was originally painted green. On December 3, 2003, the locomotive was handed over to the Hamburg Maritime Foundation and parked on the tracks of the Hamburg-Süd marshalling yard.

On July 27, 2004, it was moved to our location at the 50s shed.

The newly founded Association of Friends of the Historic Harbor Railway, under the umbrella of the Hamburg Maritime Foundation, took over care of the locomotive on September 11, 2004 (initially only maintaining its condition).

On May 19, 2012, the locomotive was handed over by the Hamburg Maritime Foundation to the Museum of Work and transported from the Bremen Quay by low-loader. Since December 12, 2012, the steam accumulator locomotive has been parked at the roundabout at the corner of Fuhlsbüttler Strasse and Wiesendamm, directly at the Hamburg Barmbek U/S station.
