The small settlement is located with a magnificent view at almost 3000 meters altitude, with views over the Prek Churok Valley up to the Pandim and its range. To the south in clear weather you can see over Yuksom and Pelling over to Darjeeling. One morning the view to the south was covered by a sea of seaweeds that we were allowed to view from above. Here is a small teashop and kiosk, a small monastery. A good place for height adjustment, definitely better than spending the day still down in things.
