    Great S1 trail right next to the actual stone canal down to Merode or to the Marienbildchen cemetery. Immediate connection to the Himmelsgang Trail which leads to the Marienbildchen cemetery, right up to the S0 Trail Generalsweg or left to the S1 Trail towards Kriegers Hof.

              Today I rode the Steinegracht Trail again. The alternatives become more numerous in the lower third. There's an alternative to keep left and ride straight down. The alternative to the right has two sub-alternatives. The first of these is a steeper descent. The second alternative runs across a plateau (more to the right) and is less steep. Both alternatives meet again further down.
