Great view from the top over the surrounding countryside. There is a snack bar and public toilets next door.

You really should make the way up to the top of the tower. The wonderful view makes up for the many steps.

The observation tower on Lake Sedlitz, made of Corten steel, rises 30 meters. The rust-red patina is reminiscent of the industrial history of the Lusatian Lakeland and of steel mining equipment. Since the inauguration of the International Building Exhibition (IBA) Fürst-Pückler-Land project in 2008, the steel giant has been a popular excursion destination and a striking stopping point for cyclists, skaters and bus groups. Its viewing platform offers a panorama over the Lusatian Lakeland, especially over the Sedlitz, Geierswalder and Partwitzer lakes
