Starting from the 1269 you can drive to the forest temple, or start the hike from here. The temple area (Wat Thammachat, Forest Temple of Creation) is usually abandoned, because only a single monk is present as a janitor, accompanied by a large dog crowd. The monk is very friendly and accompanied us on our first hike to the waterfall.
The paths and paths are difficult to spot especially during and after the rainy season, and once you get lost you should go back the same way. After crossing the brook, you should always keep to the left of the brook. After having passed single ruins, or parts of the wall from earlier times, the waterfall can already be heard and only a few meters to the finish.
The waterfall itself has a free fall of about 10 meters and flows into a pool, where you can refresh yourself and swim.
