Today's monastery, whose history dates back to the 11th century, is located on the Ulrichsberg in Neresheim. It was built at the beginning of the 18th century. Highlight is the late baroque abbey church, which was built by Balthasar Neumann. Worth seeing are the dome frescoes by Martin Knoller and the main organ of Nepomuk Holzhay.

The monastery hospice houses a hotel and restaurant business. In addition, a monastery bookstore and a youth meeting center "Martin Knoller House" operated.
Opening hours of the abbey church:

daily from about 9 to 20 o'clock

Church tours (if at least 15 people are present)
Easter to All Saints Day
Monday to Saturday 11 am and 3 pm
Sunday 11.15 and 15.15

On concert sundays the afternoon tour will be canceled.
