Petrov vrh is one of the most prominent peaks in Zapadni Papuk. It is overgrown with forest, and only on the north side it is open to a 300 meter long meadow that ends at the mountain lodge "Petrov vrh". The meadow is used as a ski resort in the winter months, and on its eastern edge is a ski lift ("saucer"). The lodge and ski resort are managed by PD "Petrov vrh" from Daruvar. At the very top are the remains of a former wooden pyramid and the upper station of the ski lift. The mountain lodge on Petrova vrh is constantly open, has a large capacity and offer of food and drinks and is an excellent base for excursions in the area of western Papuk.
