The parish church of St. Pankratius in Nievenheim dates primarily from the 18th century. Only the Romanesque pilasters of the lower three tower stories, likely constructed of Mendig tuff, are relics of a 12th-century predecessor.
The simple interior is accentuated by the altars, the pulpit, and the Baroque organ case. The Pietà, added in 1890, dates from the second half of the 16th century and is rendered in perspective. It depicts Mary, the body of Jesus, and the Evangelist John.
