The castle Landskron, also called ruin Landskrone, is the ruin of a high medieval hill fort at the town of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler in the district of Ahrweiler in Rhineland-Palatinate (Germany). The hill castle is the seat of the Burggraves of Landskron and played a significant role in the clashes between Staufers and Welfs.

The summit of the Landskrone is a nature reserve.
On the ruins there is a flat meadow area (former restaurant), a hut where you can take shelter in stormy weather, a few benches, parts of the ruins and a summit cross. The view is roughly the same as from the chapel. Overall, a nice spacious place
