The wall can hardly be seen in the grove at the turning loop, but a very informative table tells you about the history of the former castle Beuthen, as well as the history of the small but not insignificant place at Nutheübergang.
Beuthen Castle was one in the 12th and 13th centuries. Century-built castle on the Nuthe near Kleinbeuthen. The castle was still inhabited until the end of the 17th century, but then fell into disrepair. Today only a completely overgrown hill, a castle stable, is left of the building.
This quiet and informative rest area is located in Kleinbeuthen on the Fontane hiking trail F5 and offers historical highlights from the 12th century around Klein- and Großbeuthen.
