The Vechtequelle is in Darfeld. The official Vechteradweg begins there.
The Darfeld village brook begins in Darfeld an der Vechtequelle and is called Rockeler Bach in the farming community Rockel. The Burloer Bach and the Rockeler Bach flow together in Eggerode. From there the river is called Vechte. Pretty complicated. The two communities should agree on one reading. 😉
