                                    The starting point of the Villoresi Canal and a famous reference point for all cycling tours towards the Ticino River. To be honest, the beautiful part begins AFTERWARDS, the quieter part of the Ticino River that widens and becomes a particularly beautiful spot.
                                    At the dam refreshment point, they serve Bombardier English beer, which is rarely found in Italy. You can recognize it by its cap. Highly recommended.

                                      This dam inaugurated in 1884 was built by the Villoresi brothers (engineers) from whom the irrigation canals of the same name take their name. Here begins Km. 0 of the system that brings water to the various territories. The name Panperduto seems to have been given to it because of the excessive cost of the work compared to the benefits it would have brought, especially in terms of irrigation, but today for the territories it bathes it is priceless.

                                        Very beautiful place and rich in history. The two most important canals in Lombardy, the Naviglio and the Villoresi, depart from there. The Panperduto hostel also offers refreshments and the possibility of staying overnight.
