Martinfeld Castle was built in 1611 as the manor house of the von Bodungen family. Today it serves as a youth hostel and self-catering accommodation. https://schloss-martinfeld.de/

The hall church, built of rubble stone, dates from 1723. The tower is considerably older, having originally been the bower of the Hanstein manor house. The date 1674 is visible on the western portal. Noteworthy are the curved, two-story gallery and the wooden barrel vaulted ceiling.
