Really lovely ride with a bit of everything! You have the lake, which has a nice restaurant open during the season, a nice climb out of Carces up to the abbey and then a loop back behind the lake to Carces through stunning undulating Provençal countryside with vineyards and olive groves at every turn

Aups is a truly beautiful place with many small streets and beautiful houses. The market, which takes place there regularly, is well worth a visit. Plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit, delicious cheese, and other good things from Provence. The most beautiful bike ride from there leads to Tourtour – a wonderful little town with good restaurants!

A wonderful 8km ride along the D50 between two charming Provençal villages. It is delightfully traffic-free, well paved, and full of rustic, rural charm. It is one of my favourite segments in this area.
