The painter was a passionate collector of Japanese woodcuts.

The garden is divided into two parts: the Clos Normand with its formal and colorful flowerbeds and the exotic water garden, which has an Asian touch. The garden shows how Monet masterfully combined colors and lighting to bring his works to life. For those who want to enjoy the garden in peace, it is worth visiting early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
