To the left, the spa town of Sooden; to the right, the venerable old town of Allendorf. Between them flows the Werra River – this is precisely what makes the twin town so diverse and charming.

The Kurtheater is a simple, functional building from the 1950s, serving as a cinema, among other things. The entrance area, in particular, showcases the historic interior from the time the building was built. It's wonderful to have something like this in a town of this size.
