In 1322 there was the first documented mention of a church. Today's hall church has a square, essentially Romanesque choir tower and an apse with an apse calotte. The top floor of the retracted choir tower is octagonal. On top sits a bulbous, slated dome carrying a lantern. The choir is covered with a Gothic ribbed vault. The nave has three axes and is covered with a gabled roof. The flat ceiling in the interior was installed after the Middle Ages. In 1834 the church was reconstructed, an inscription is on the inner portal in the west. Two-storey galleries were built on the long sides of the nave. The three-part extension in the west, which serves as a vestibule, was built later.
