Extensive redesign and renovation work has been carried out at the Papiermühlenwehr barbecue and rest area. The idyllic location directly on the Sprotte River is a popular rest stop for many hikers and cyclists. The barbecue grill, which was deliberately destroyed a few years ago, has been replaced with a new outdoor grill, and a bicycle parking facility has been built. Let's hope the area doesn't fall victim to vandalism again.

The nave was added in 1499. The church was rebuilt in 1803 to 1804 after a fire in the late Gothic predecessor building. After a bomb hit in 1945, the church was rebuilt from 1949 to 1950 and consecrated on December 26, 1950.
