Great place for a short break in the middle of Creuse.

As you cycle along the well-maintained roads, you will discover beautiful natural scenery, making it a perfect mix of relaxation and exercise.

Meymac Abbey is a 13th-century Benedictine abbey in Meymac, France. The original monastery on the site was founded in the 10th century by the Vicomte de Comborn. Lake Vassivière was created in 1950 to cover the energy needs of France. The dam is almost 33 meters high and 25 meters thick at its base, only 3 meters at the top.
