The climb to the Château de Services is worth the detour for the 200m+ sport and some picturesque houses in the village

The Bardot Gardens are an open natural space that harnesses the full horticultural potential of the southwest slope of the Dordogne Gorges. It boasts numerous shrub varieties such as holly, medlars, lilacs, field maples, and vines.

The Chastang Dam is a reservoir in the Corrèze department. It has been in operation since 1951. The structure dams the course of the Dordogne between Bort-les-Orgues and Argentat.

Nestled in the heart of the lower Doustre valley, Saint-Bazile is only accessible by roads with steep slopes. Basically, if you go through Saint-Bazile, you will have no choice: it will go uphill! Note the pretty castle on the left bank.

Nice dam near Saint Pradoux with a view of the artificial lake. It was created by the construction in 1949 of the Valette dam located in the town of St Pardoux-la-Croisille on the river Doustre.

Correze Cycling Holidays is a very nice chambre d'hote for cyclists, owned by the English couple Samantha and James Parry. It is a great base for cycling through the beautiful rolling countryside of Correze in the Dordogne, for all levels. The rooms are nice and the beds good. The inner man is also excellently taken care of.
