At the intersection of the Alexisbad toboggan run and the Klippenweg/Selke-Stieg trail, there's a small picnic area with a table and benches. Surrounded by trees, this spot offers a peaceful place to linger during your hike. It's ideal for a break before continuing on to the Engagement Urn (HWN 177). The route there is mostly flat, allowing you to relax and enjoy the tranquility and nature of the forest.

The Birkenhäuschen is a refuge with a rest area below the Habichtstein summit on the hiking trail to the engagement urn. It was built in 1906 by the Köthen Harz Club branch from birch trunks.
