Great – like the Little Saxon Switzerland ;-) definitely worth a trip

The four-aisled St. Mary's Church is one of the most important late Gothic hall churches in Saxony. Construction began around 1400 and was completed around 1480. It boasts rich furnishings of high artistic quality, including the St. Mary's Altar (1519), St. Michael's Altar (1498), and the pulpit (1564) by the Kamenz painter Andreas Dreßler. The Andreas Fountain is located in the southwestern part of the market square. It is probably one of the oldest fountains in the city and has a depth of approximately 10.80 m and a diameter of approximately 2 m. With a water depth of approximately 7 m measured in 2004, this corresponds to a water capacity of approximately 22 m³. Dr. Andreas Günter, once mayor of Kamenz, had the fountain built at his own expense in 1570 out of love for his hometown. Very beautiful church with a great interior. The cemetery and the view over the wall are worth mentioning.

As the name suggests: a very long bench. The view is also good. It's a good place to take a break.
