The sandstone distance column, constructed in 1728, was erected on the Untermarkt in 1732. However, it was removed again in the mid-19th century. The exact date of its removal is unknown; sources indicate the years 1840 and 1856. The current column is a replica erected in the summer of 1996. Sandstone obelisk with a coat of arms, distance inscriptions, the year, and the post horn sign, base, copy.[

War memorial in Stolpen, commemorates the soldiers of the First and Second World Wars from this area.

Sandstone memorial for those who died in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/1871

This monument was erected in 1818 to mark the 50th anniversary of the reign of Frederick Augustus III (the Just). In 1889, an additional plaque was added to the monument, donated by the citizens of Stolpen for the 800th anniversary of the House of Wettin. At least one commemorative plaque was removed in 1957, and the medallion from the main column a few years later. They disappeared into the basement of the former school and were encased in concrete there around 1978. The monument was subsequently secured by the IG Denkmalpflege (Conservation of Monuments).

The Johannis-Cosel Tower consists of two connected towers. Among other things, the towers contain a Gothic staircase that winds upwards in a clockwise direction, offering the opportunity to explore the exhibits on each floor. In addition to numerous pieces of furniture, stoves, and furnishings, information panels are found throughout the complex. The tower houses an inaccessible hunger hole, a dungeon, in the basement, and the upper floors contain information about the bishops' stay in Stolpen, the life and imprisonment of Countess Cosel, as well as numerous illustrations of Stolpen Fortress.
