You can run along the 1.8 km promenade, where you can admire the charming Belle Époque villas and the casino. You can also enjoy the fresh air and the iodine-rich water, which is said to have medicinal properties. The beach is also a historic site, as it was one of the landing places for Allied forces during World War II.

You cannot walk this route at full tide. The walk along the top is not close to the cliffs.

The flax cycle route has many other very pleasant aspects when you travel it: first of all an impeccable asphalt, many places to rest, a sea air, and the assured calm of a road without any traffic, because you follow an old railway line completely renovated into a cycle path.
