There used to be another mill right next to the well-known Obermühle. It originally bore the name Walkmühle der Wollweberzunft - known today as the color mill, since it was used to produce color from 1882. Work in the mill was only stopped in 1966. Then the mill fell into disrepair and was never rebuilt. In 2005 a mill wheel was erected on the site of the former mill as a symbolic monument to the former mill.
