The detour leads to absolutely stunning pools and is certainly not useless. Definitely worth doing. You only have to walk the last 150 meters downhill towards the river. It's a bit steep in places, but not dangerous. Otherwise, check out my previous tours.

The refuge is located at an altitude of 1,161 meters in the Tavignanu valley. Nestled in a beautiful green setting, it is open from the beginning of May to the end of October and includes 36 places in total.

There are numerous natural swimming pools in the forest and the Aïtone waterfalls tempt the bravest... the water there is rarely warmer than 11° - even in midsummer!

Nice view of the rather large waterfall that feeds the Restonica. There is currently no official hiking trail leading to the waterfall.

The Radule waterfall is near the sheepfold of the same name. This beautiful waterfall is part of the Golo stream which flows through a valley as raw as it is magnificent.
