The village has had its Church of Saint Thomas since 1269, built by Andrea Malaspina. Amidst its arcades and numerous so-called "venelles," it houses a 16th-century image of the Virgin and Child, a 17th-century holy water font, and a marble statue of Saint Anthony the Baptist, discovered near Lozari. The latter, coveted by several communities, was therefore transported by oxen on a cart across the region and given to the village where the animals first stopped.

The walk to Asco through the Asco Valley is a highlight in itself; you can park your car in the village and jump into the swimming holes. On the way back, you can buy refreshments or something to eat in the village—we opted for crepes and galettes.

Restaurant "Le Pont Genois" is perfect for a break. The view from the terrace is magnificent. And the chestnut tiramisu is world class! There is also a donkey that walks around on the terrace.

Nice climb with almost no traffic, beautiful views and an average gradient of 6%.
