For centuries, the moated castle has shaped the image and history of Taufkirchen an der Vils, an Upper Bavarian community in the eastern district of Erding. When and by whom the castle was originally built is not known. Traces of a seat of power in this place can be traced back to the Middle Ages. the cycle path runs off the road and winds along the edge of the forest. Unfortunately it's not very long, so if you want to make progress you should stay on the road. If you have time and want to enjoy the landscape, we recommend the detour. As of March 24 - brand new asphalt

Access is ideally via the high bridge, a brick structure that is over 400 years old. Imposing bridge, where you have a good view of the surrounding “valley”. You should be able to drive over it and under it sometimes :-)
