The Lampertshof is mentioned for the first time in 1265 in the Otterberg document book as "Molendinum Lamperti" and in 1282 as Lamprechtsmulen in the Palatinate imperial ministries as a mill. In the following centuries the name appears again and again in different spellings in various documents and documents. In 1369 as Lamprechts mole, 1438 as Lamprechts mülen, 1544 as Lamprechts Muelen, 1560 as Lamprechts-Mühle and 1665 as Lambertsmüllen.
