We just completed the hike, which is magnificent. Physical but superb. 14.7 km and 490 km of elevation gain. A little info: The Naux footbridge is closed due to severe corrosion. Probably for quite some time, unfortunately. It's impossible to cross. We must continue to the Thilay bridge.

The thriving capital of tobacco growing, Bohan, this town of 400 inhabitants, which has become a renowned shopping centre and is very popular with a French clientele, has been brilliantly converted to mass tourism.

The hamlet of Bohan is part of the commune of Vresse-sur-Semois. In Belgium, it has become the capital of tobacco cultivation. Its beauty attracts many visitors.

The Pont Cassé de Bohan, emblem of the Ardennes village, spans the Semois and formerly supported a tram line. Dynamized and rebuilt during the Second World War, it was definitively destroyed by the Germans in 1944. Used for only two years, it lost its utilitarian function but remains a safe place to walk and a symbol dear to the Bohanais. This bridge is often photographed and features on many local logos.
