この15世紀の小さな城はレンガ造りで、修復を受けていません。18世紀には、4つの塔が備わった長方形の囲いがありました。現在では、高い寄棟屋根を戴いた2つの大きな四角い塔の間の主棟だけが残っています。2つの塔のうち大きい方には、エレガントな格子窓が開けられています。いくつかの窓には中世の錬鉄製の格子が残っています。

The town of Tournus with approximately 6,000 inhabitants, located on the banks of the Saône, allows visitors to discover its abbey and its remarkable Saint-Philibert Abbey church, a gem of Romanesque architecture. During a walk around the abbey you will discover the picturesque alleys with old houses.

The church was built from the 12th to 16th centuries. In the bell tower there are no fewer than three bells, including Germaine, the largest (around 1,500 kg), which is among the oldest preserved in the Autun diocese.
