This pretty rock typical of the sandstone formations of the region is enhanced by its waterfall. The small waterfall was created artificially by diverting the Ziegbach. This does not detract from its superb.

What a pretty little waterfall! There is a rock in the forest and water splashes happily down, which then somehow disappears into the ground. You want to stay and stand and look. So beautiful! In summer, however, when everything is dry, there is probably very little or no water flowing here and the rock is just a rock.

Coming from below, the waterfall is not noticeable at first, only when you get closer do you discover the narrow cascade, which pours down through a crevice in the rock and as the stream you came along slowly continues to flow.

The view over the forest canopy is breathtaking; it's just a pity that you can't look down on the Cascade from above. You can catch a glimpse of the falling water from the side, but you can't get a full view, and climbing for that would be far too dangerous.
