The chapel was open and it smelled of incense. Children had painted pictures and placed them in front of the altar. A bench in front of the chapel invites you to sit and relax. In the chapel you can have a conversation with God or light a votive candle.

A great hiking or running tour. You pass pastures, farms, the former Linde train station, small chapels and have great views of the Bergisches Land.

According to the inscription above the chapel entrance, the small chapel (Trinity Chapel) dates back to 1720. It is pleasant to look at, located directly on the hiking trail, open at least on Sundays, and has a romantic background. The political conditions of that time gave rise to the legend that a woman from the castle of Unter-Heiligenhoven vowed to build a chapel if her husband, who had gone to war, returned home safely. She wanted the chapel built on the spot where her husband would first meet her upon his return. This happened on the spot where the Trinity Chapel now stands.
